Ottawa has no plans to pick up plastic waste that founded in Canada and is currently parked in Malaysia, a spokesman for Canada’s atmosphere ministry stated on Thursday.
In late May, the Malaysian government said it would send back 3,000 tonnes of plastic waste back to 14 international locations of starting place, including Canada, the US, Japan, France, Australia, and Britain.

The 69 transport containers of rubbish have been loaded onto a shipment vessel at Subic Bay, a former US naval base and delivery port northwest of Manila, and began the long trip back to Canada.
